TO BLIND TO SEE IT…..

A few conversations this week and numerous observations on the behaviors of people of faith have left me a bit bewildered…

To put it bluntly I am watching people of all shades and “ilks” within the “Christian” faith say and espouse some of the most alarming things ranging from the vile and hateful to heretical and deeply technically flawed “truths”.

To those who truly claim Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah please be reminded that your race, ethnicity, “tribe”, gender, political affiliation or level of education DO NOT MAKE YOU BETTER OR GREATER THAN ANYONE IN GODS EYES. It is actually the heart, your actions and way of life extending out of ones faith that make the difference to God. To God, it doesnt matter if your White, Black, Indian, Asian, Zulu, Xhosa, Amhara, Tigrayan, Shona, Ndebele, etc, etc, etc…..If you do not have love or seek to serve your fellow man with sincerity and compassion while worshipping God with complete humility and devotion to his ways and way of life…. you are none of his ACCORDING TO HIM.

We have become blinded by racial pride, ethnic pride, national pride, family pride and adoration/worship of self to the point where Christ is not a part of our way of life and not the inspiration for the behavior that reveals our morality.

Scriptural instruction seems to mean nothing to most anymore, as they are set in their ways and basically represent and worship a God of their own manufacturing. A God that conforms to their standards of self as opposed to them conforming to the image of the creator God. I urge those that put self, nationality, ethnicity, tribe, race and other labels and distractions ahead of practicing Godly ways to put away the things that separate you from God and frame you as the hypocrite. Don’t be like those men of Ezekiel 14 who “have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face…”. Rather realize that as children of the most high we are to always be repentant, living, thinking and acting like the Messiah and that, according to Paul’s writing in Galatians 3:26-29
[26] ….ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Furthermore…
I(Galatians 5:13-14)
[13] ….. brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. [14] For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
If your true purpose is to serve God on Gods terms, we are admonished in Ephesians 4:1-6 To:
[1] … walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, [2] With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; [3] Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. [4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; [5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, [6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

You cant be white supremacist, black supremacist, xenophobic, woman hating, race hating, other tribe hating bigot and see or represent God. A lot of us are deluding ourselves and destroying ourselves if we think we can be those things and still call ourselves “Christian”…

Consider the life and sacrifice of the one of made you, died for you and gave his life to save the world.
